Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy

Refunds are subject to the following schedule based on when written notice of cancellation is received:

• 2 months or more before the event — full refund of total fees paid, minus a $100 AUD administration fee.
• Between 1 and 2 months before the event — 50% of total fees paid (including the deposit) will be refunded.
• Less than 1 month before the event — no refund is available, regardless of personal circumstances.

We understand that unexpected situations may arise, such as medical emergencies or severe weather events. However, this policy is final and non-negotiable to ensure the sustainability of our training programs.

Withdrawal of Application

If you withdraw your application before your enrolment is confirmed, a $100 AUD administration fee applies. This fee is deducted from the deposit paid at the time of application, and the remaining deposit balance will be refunded.

Transfer of Registration

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person, provided:

• The new participant submits an application in advance and receives approval from PIA
• An administration fee of $50 AUD is paid

Partial attendance transfers are not permitted.

Event Cancellation or Rescheduling

In the unlikely event that PIA must cancel or reschedule a training, participants will be notified within 10 days of the event. In such cases, participants will be offered:

• A full refund minus merchant transaction fees
• Transfer of your registration into another equivalent event on our calendar
• A credit note for future events

Travel Arrangements

PIA assumes no liability for travel and accommodation cancellations. We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may affect your ability to attend.
